  1. ABS needs to have the same strike zone as defined in the rule book. The strike zone is a 3 D box, not a line across the middle of the plate. As demonstrated in the Yankees Mariners game, Castillo threw a strike as per the rules, ABS called it a ball because the ball crossed the plate before the middle line.

  2. I do so very much love Passan. Anyone who dresses down Salk is priceless. The irony of the “arrogance” and “incompetence” comonversations was pungent and oh so welcome.

  3. The logical inference of what Jeff is saying is that if fans want a salary cap, they are going to have to let the owners know with their wallets.

  4. Maybe I dunno. Ms got 1 good bat in FA, didn't improve the defense or bullpen at all though which were huge issues last season. If Ms are even contenders at the break they'll need to get better in the pen and in the infield.
