"He thought he had it timed up perfectly, because the photo was scheduled for noon Pacific time. It was even written on the agenda that way. As he was heading over for the photo, he ran into Jaguars coach Liam Coen and mentioned that they had to go get the annual chore taken care of. But Cohen informed him that it had already been taken — about 20 minutes early."

"Before long, the photo circulated on social media – with no Monken or Rams coach Sean McVay – so at least he wasn’t the only one. The photo was snapped immediately after a coaches meeting, which let out early. The problem is, Monken skipped the meeting – in part to get the haircut. So he had a snappy new ‘do, and nowhere to go. But at least he was freshly coiffed for the annual party later that night, a posh affair at the Arizona Biltmore."

  1. At least we know that Monken isn’t one of those “if you aren’t here 20 minutes early, you’re late” type of coaches.

  2. I don’t care about no damn picture and neither should my football coach. I like it!

  3. When things inevitably burn and we probably fire everyone, there won’t be any real evidence that the dude was actually a head coach.

  4. This is the coaching equivalent of getting caught under the flag during pregames.

  5. You would think he would have people who would say “hey coach, the picture is at this time, you should probably get your hair cut at this time instead to not miss it”

  6. Wouldn’t you want to be at the coach’s meeting if it’s your first year as a coach?

  7. People who are saying this is no big deal would be killing Stefanski for this, lol.

This is a story that means nothing, that is going to be brought up a million times this year b/c we will be bad.

  8. Like really? While Idgaf about the picture. I care that he was not organized enough to do what he thought he was going to do.

I am at a complete loss that he would not attend a coaches meeting that the NFL was having. WTF?
