I’m fucking tired boss
Frondell goal at least
But uh…can we mayyyyybe work on OT? Pretty please?
I’m ready for the season to be over
So sick of hearing Schiefle for years now 🙄
Another regular day in Chicago sports
Glad how we responded. Frondell was awesome, just can’t win in OT
I know this is irrational but I almost wish they would just lose in regulation instead of losing every fucking time in OT
Maybe they should work on 3 on 3 instead of fighting next practice
Bertuzzi made a career high in goals per season, so at least there’s something worth celebrating
Now that we’ve had a big enough sample size, blashill has done a terrible job managing Bedard. It seems like he is succeeding in spite of his linemates 24/7 as opposed to having help. It’s time burakovsky is scratched as well
It’s crazy how there has been zero improvement in OT this entire year. They lose the face off then never get the puck and lose.
Frondell scored and Bert got 2.
Bedard line is even worse since Frondell and Nazar are getting the better wingers.
Bedard is having less help now then he did to start the year. This honestly ain’t fair to him. Greene and Lardis as his wingers in year 3 is insanity.
Short term pain for long term success I keep telling myself

Slaggert helped our draft chances tonight
Frondell goal, Bert almost hatty, tank fueled, nothing matters

My bad. I missed the majority of the game and tuned in just as OT started. And they lost 30 seconds later. Sorry everyone.
Bedard’s gotta play better defense than that. No urgency.
No idea what Frondell is thinking on that play.
Frondell looked incredible all game, but that OT goal was entirely him not backchecking. Not sure what that was about, but pretty egregious lack of effort there.
Another Chicago Blackhawks overtime loss 🔥🔥
this team needs to figure out 3 on 3 badly, the amount of points they squandered stings and would’ve put them closer to a playoff spot.
7-14 on the season.
It’s so crazy how many broken coverages we have because of lazy skating and not fully covering our guys. It’s like no one knows that you can’t give away any room in the NHL. Bedard on that last goal, Frondell especially (though he obviously gets a pass here), pretty much the entire Defense… In general, you would think young guys would be skating a bit harder on the backcheck to prove their worth.
Bertuzzi deserved better, he played like a fucking demon for those 2 points
As soon as I saw Frondell taking the face off over Bedard, I knew they were taking the L.
I am starting to see the vision. I am excited to see the team next year. Curious what the draft will look like but I am very hopeful seeing it all come together gives me hope.
Somehow, 3 teams have more OTL
Frondell first goal.
Frondell first lesson of covering your man in OT.
I didn’t think Frondell would look this good right away
Well go hawks I guess
* Toews got some more love in his 2nd game back at the UC.
* Frondell scored his first NHL goal in the slot off a pass from Mikheyev.
* Frondell changed his jersey number to 16 in honor of Marcus Kruger.
* Bertuzzi scored on a spin-o-rama for his 30th goal this season.
* Bertuzzi scored from in front of the net off a pass from Mikheyev behind the net.
* The Jets won in OT.
* Jersey flair has been updated.
Faceoffs are what’s killing this team in OT. It’s a possession game, so that opening puck drop is critical.
Sucks to lose this one, I think we played well enough to get a win
Frondell is amazing. If the long term plan is to keep him at C, then KD need to pick up the phone and try to get that Knies deal done ASAP. Bedard needs some size and grit on his wing, it’s been very clear these last 2 games with Greene and Lardis on his line.
A clear improvement tonight after the horrific roadtrip, not too upset with this game
So Frondell gets first goal and blows defensive assignment in OT – Hawks lose
Rookie error
Team still out hit
Burakovsky still sucks
Frondell is absolutely incredible, gonna be a Hawk for a long, LONG time. Might be able to anchor his own line too…which gives us even more depth now down the middle and the option of moving Nazar to 3C…we’ll see what happens. Frondell is already such a responsible defensive player and has legit size at a young age…he’s so ahead of schedule and we gotta give KD credit for this pick. What a stud.
Bedard on the other hand….all i can say is that stupid fucking injury ruined his entire season. It really did. Here we are…the seasons almost over and he’s STILL not quite right, still struggling as if it were his first game back. Hasn’t been truly himself since the second he returned, and I’m surprised its gone this long and he’s still seemingly unable to get back on track. What can ya do….other than wait for opening night next season and pray everything is okay and he’s back to normal.
Our rookies make mistakes more than anyone else in the league.
That’s called a coaching issue.
