They lost the fucking game…
2014! Darn I’m old. Remember watching this game with dad and both being amazed.
I was there, right in the goal line just opposed sideline. He caught that sucker right in front of me basically. I thought the flag was for a push off and didn’t realize he caught it until I saw the ref signal TD.
Most insane athletic thing I saw in person, and I saw Randy Moss catch a dime over Revis head once.
I knew we were ass for that period, but OBJ made it fun to watch at least.
I love the dude but can we please stop talking about him.
I was at this game in the corner of the end zone where he caught it. Unbelievable catch.

Everytime I see this clips it feels like I just watched the game yesterday. I remember i was sitting on my couch and I remember jumping on the couch screaming at the top of my lungs. Mom immediately got mad that I was screaming but I didn’t care.
Idk how this can be 12 years ago. Literally feels like yesterday.
Without this catch, his first three seasons looked like:
287 catches, 34 TDs, 4079 yards
Averages out to 96 catches, 11 TDs, and 1359 yards per season
And that is while averaging only 14 games a season
Looking at 110 for over 1600 over 17 games.
This is for all those (I hope no Giants fans) who say he wasn’t good outside of this catch. Yes I’ve heard that take before.
Technically, it was a 3 finger catch.
Still a great catch though.
I remember this time in my life I was in Middle school and it was lunch, my friend told me to google “OBJ catch” and we sat at the table watching the catch. Needless to say I became a “bandwagon” and never looked back since c:
Saw this live. Based purely on the play and taking all game context out, this is the greatest catch in nfl history. Period.
I can’t think of a more insane play I’ve ever seen in my life.
It’s not like it’s the Tyree helmet catch.
