  1. Scoring 8+ runs a game is definitely sustainable all season long.

    No, I’m not in denial.

  2. #Can I just say,

I flippin love watching Yordan Alvarez bat.

None of this stepping out of the box, fixing your uniform, adjusting your gloves, smelling your hoo-ha, fixing your hair diva malarkey. He just stands in the box and grips it and rips it. That’s a real man playing some real gosh darn baseball right there. Just stands in the box and dares you to throw one over the dang plate. None of this waiting for walks horse hockey. Real men hit dingers. Real men open doors for people. Real men read the bible to their children before bed each night. That’s some real dadgum baseball right there. Hot dang I love Yordan Alvarez!

  3. Good to see the offense show up for hunter. Altuve working walks at an insane rate. 160-2 still on the table.

  4. Astros take the series in dominating fashion, out scoring the Red Sox 17-3 in the first 2 games.

Pitching and hitting has been incredible, hopefully we can keep this up for a sweep tomorrow.

  5. Our hitting coaches last year were actual terrorists

This team is a contender when healthy. The only question mark are the pitchers outside of Brown staying healthy and working out a solid 1-2-3 for the playoffs

But this team looks beautiful. Cam and Brice look very positive, Joey is a perfect lefty platoon bat. Yordan looks fully healthy and Altuve is being SO patient. I’m excited for the year

  6. Absolutely feasting right now as a celebrated Cintron hater. Altuve leads the team in walks and Walker looks like he thinks everyone is the Dodgers the way he’s been hitting.

    Let’s get that sweep tomorrow!

  7. If this is the team we’re getting this year, we’re in for a very fun season.

Crochet tomorrow. I know we’ve hit aces well historically, but idk what the current coaching philosophy is when it comes to aces vs. career 6+ ERA pitchers.

  8. Idc what yall say. I’ve always believed in and love me some C-Walk

  9. Man it is so nice to see the Astros going out there with conviction and just taking some wins. Shit’s clicking for the first time in too long.

  10. You know what’s better than 3 wins in a row? 4 wins in a row, a series dub, and a winning homestand

The bats, y’all. What more needs to be said? I love the new approach and it has paid dividends as we begin the season. Altuve’s renaissance of patience. Walker continuing to shut the haters up. Yordan. We got a pair of QS from LMJ and Hunter Brown, who got his first win of the season. Bolton lit it up to get the three inning save, which helps out the bullpen so much. I’m feeling pretty damn good about our Stros right now.

Crochet is going to be a tough customer, but I think Burrows recovers nicely after a start where he got absolutely BABIP’ed. I don’t think we light Crochet up for 8 runs (but who’s to say we won’t), but I’m ready to break out the brooms and do a little sweeping tomorrow.

  11. lol did yall see that Cam actually got struck out in the bottom of the 5th but no one noticed (except probably Cam)?? He ended up walking instead.

  12. Remember last year when we could barely string together 2 consecutive wins, let alone 4??? WE ARE SO BACK BABY

  13. We have had more walks this season than we did all of last year. Trust me don’t check baseball reference.
