He’s a walking 18/20 pts & 10/9 rebounds when he’s locked in. He should stop playing ego games. Mirror mirror.
He’s defense was so good there was one play where he switched on like 4 different players and still contested the shot which caused someone to miss
His defense was FANTASTIC tonight. Got switched out to the perimeter multiple times and mostly held up. He’s no AD obviously, but this kind of defense really really bodes well for the team.
He’s not that guy, but the guy in the mirror is.
And he’s actually making himself some money by accepting his role and not forcing something he’s not.

He came to a difficult realization that he did not pull his weight and do what the team needed, and then put in the work to change that. It’s not an easy thing to do, since we protect our ego. Impressive stuff from DA, a clear-cut improvement on effort, mentality and teamwork!
I feel like he can be more of a force on defense but I like his effort overall.
At this rate, bring him back. Him and Hayes has been a very solid center rotation for us

Now this year we have a center who can do everything at an average level. Yeah he’s not the best rim protector, rebounder, or lob threat. But he can do all of those well enough to produce, and he’s got a good floater and mid range.
