  1. Guys this was just an April Fools joke, the Rangers will go back to winning after this

  2. Very encouraged about starting 4-2. Had you told me we’d win both series on the road against two good teams to open the season I’d have been ecstatic regardless of how the losses looked.

Hopefully Evo can get it going. Stuff looks fine, just poor command.

Edit: one more thing, not to be too impatient but this team really needs to get ahead of the curve regarding ABS. Idk if someone needs to tell Skip that they don’t carry over into the next game, but I’m pretty sure we’re averaging 1 challenge/game and are passing up on way too many opportunities. If you’re hitting and you’re shaking your head at a called strike out of the zone you should probably challenge it.

  3. We’re at 4-2… like last year. PANIC!

    (Jk. We’re playing much better)

  4. Okay, 7-2 going into the Seattle series or 4-5 with the swept by the Reds magic?

  5. Bummer of a game today, but that’s two series wins. Hard to be too mad about that. Jung showing signs of life is refreshing. Hopefully Eovaldi just needed to shake off some rust and will start looking sharper, both his starts this year have been *rough*.

  6. Evo wasnt good but he is getting pretty BABPId so far. Not concerned about him yet. that FIP-xFIP and ERA-xERA delta is gonna hit like crack

  7. evo gotta lock it in for seattle 😮‍💨 otherwise good roadtrip from the guys. i like this teams vibes

  8. Evo has been not great in 2 starts and the offense is being carried by the top of the order. Still happy with how they’ve played so far though

  9. Jung is back after a rough start, have to keep him in the lineup this next series. Cant let him lose what he got back today

  10. Idk what’s going on with Eovaldi but he hasn’t started the year off very well

  11. Keep the same energy with Evo that y’all do with Jung struggling out of the gate

  12. Should we be worried at all about EO and his age?

To be quite honest with Bradford in Montgomery potentially coming back this may be the first time I’ve ever seen the Rangers have a plethora of good pitching potentially. Which is never really been the Rangers MO (obviously because of the stadium…)

  13. 4-2 on the road to start the year ain’t bad. Time to kick some ass at home.

  14. Keep stacking series wins that’s how you succeed. Ready for the home opener!

  15. All in all great road trip, won the series against 2 really good teams. Not worried about Evo necessarily, dude hasn’t pitched in 6 months since Bochy shut him down in July ish of last year. Probably has a lot of rust to knock off before we see him back to form that spring is not necessarily gonna get off of him. Even though we only scored 3 today still really encouraged by the offensive effort, that’s Roger’s worst home start in the last 9 games, he is a dominant lefty and though he shut us down early we hit him well enough and scored off of him, and had multiple chances at putting up a big inning. All in all excited to see the boys at home and how they play against a solid reds team, and against the evil mariners whom I hate more than the astros simply because of their fanbase
