GUILTY PART 2: Draft Weapons like Kenyon Sadiq and Chargers Running Game Set to Dominate

Huge rumors have swirled since Mike McDaniel was hired that the Chargers have been heavily pursuing weapons, and the draft is where they will look to now. Guilty as Charged’s Tyler Schoon and Steven Haglund join to discuss if the Chargers could pursue a top tier playmaker in the draft like Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq. Where McDaniel should absolutely thrive is with his new run game led by Omarion Hampton and bolstered by the moves made in free agency. The guests explain why they believe that the Chargers should be a top-three rushing attack in the NFL and why Hampton could be near the league’s leaders in rushing yards. Tap in to get an in-depth look at what is to come for the team from four of the top experts breaking it down.

  1. I agree with Steven we need another Vincent Jackson ,Mike Williams , Dk Metcalf type At X. However QJ Doesnt deserve the 5th Year $18 m/yr .

  2. Also I hate to sound like a band Wagoner however I’ve been saying for a while. It’s time to start looking for Denzel Perryman’s replacement. We need a stud in the future to play next to Hanley. The jury is still out on junior Colston I feel like he only got picked because he went to Michigan. He has shown us absolutely nothing. This should be his make or break gear linebacker wouldn’t be a bad option if one falls to us in the third or fourth round .

  3. David Thank You! why sit on 48 mil in Cap Space ? I hope they have A post Draft /Post June 1st plan and not just prove to the ownership he can save money.

  4. Charger fans should be ready for a non lineman pick at 22. There are starting caliber DE/ed later on in the draft and Especially if McDaniels knows he does not need a high end guard!

  5. GOOD MORNING LOCKED ON CHARGERS CREW,IT'S ME TIMOTHY FROM VISTA CALIFORNIA, I THINK THE CHARGERS OFFENSIVE LINE NEEDS TO ATTACK THE DEFENSIVE PLAYERS AND PUSH THEM BACK WARDS TO PROTECT JUSTIN HERBERT THIS FULL SEASON TO GET TO A CHANCE TO WIN THE SUPER BOWL THIS SEASON.

  6. Love the show, love the insight… but I’m totally puzzled how you don’t even mention Dexter Lawrence. Chargers need to win a playoff game and win the AFC West, and a player like Lawrence makes those goals very doable. You mention the cap space and the need to do something with it… Dexter Lawrence makes too much sense to me.

  7. Hortiz does FA like he thinks he gets to keep any money he doesn’t spend.😂😂
I get not spending wildly but we shouldn’t have 5 “needs” going into the draft with how much money we have available.

  8. Yes, this is a critical season for the Chargers…there are just no more excuses, so anything less than 1x play off win (at least) will be a complete failure, and where fans and players alike will start doubting the process and staff…I will have to wait until the start of training camp (after the draft, 2nd wave of free agency and potential trades) and see what the roster looks like before putting my hands in the fire like last season…

  9. "QJ hate by the fanbase " ??? You fukers were thr ones who Spread that hatred the Most. NOW your zay flower is proven to be average at best wr and way behind QJ, you jump back on the wagon ? Stfu. 😂
