Even though I am disappointed with how the season ended, I am super stoked for our future, and especially watching this kid mature! LGI
It’s crazy to have a rookie on your team where the thought isn’t whether they’ll be good or not going forward, but how high up the all time greats list he gets.
Like, it’s a legitimate question as to whether he might be the first 50 goal defenseman ever. Not that it’s likely to happen, but just the fact that it’s not an absurd question is incredible. Or the idea that we’re already leaning away from “could he win a Norris trophy someday?” and more towards “how many Norris trophies might he get?”
I know these are incredibly lofty possibilities I’m putting on him, but at this point he’s earned them.
