I feel like more people should know there is a minor league football team that plays across the street from Lambeau. I’ve been to a few games and it’s a lot of fun!
With how popular major league and college football are, I don’t get why no one talks about arena football.
Also minor complaint, but I preferred the old logo.

As someone in San Diego, I tried to support the strike force 2 seasons ago, then they moved to the opposite end of the city and I’ll be damned if I spend an hour driving to go to a game
Two years ago they started popping up in my YouTube so I watched all the games. Last year none of their games were available, which was a shame, since they were fun.
I feel like it’s a more manageable way to get both my kids to a football game. Definitely more engaging for them too
Does the chill still play there?
I was, when the AF2 was around. The IFL doesn’t pay enough to attract anyone with decent talent. If anyone from this league plays in the NFL they don’t last long and bounce around a bit.
I ain’t saying don’t chase your dreams but 300 bucks a week isn’t cutting it. And those are the kind of players you will get. Guys chasing dreams, get paid peanuts.
Arena/indoor ball is a hard watch on tv as well. I love the arena rules and I loved watching guys play with those rules. The IFL can’t have those rules due to copyrights so you get a watered down brand of arena ball.
Wanna see a rebound net touchdown? Not in the IFL.
Wanna see a bounce pass off the boards? Not in the IFL. I just can’t get behind what the IFL does as a fan. Is it worth checking out on dollar beer night? Sure. Why not. But with roster turn over and d3 college players it’s rough to get into.
That being said I hope all the players stay healthy and reach their dreams.
Weren’t they in the championship a season or two ago!? I vaguely follow the league because a guy who QB’d at my tiny college had a few seasons starting in the IFL which was cool to see.
Me and a few buddies went to try outs back in the day, like 06 or 07. It was a blast and got blown out lol
I’ve been a fan of the Blizzard since the af2 days. I don’t go to games as often as I used, largely because I don’t live in the Green Bay area anymore, but still like to make the trip once a year if I can. I do miss the rebound nets and some of that, but the IFL version of the game has it’s charm as well. It’s also been a nice way to take my kids to see a game- to take them to a Packer game would be the cost of a small vacation to the Dells, but the Blizzard games are cheap enough that we can just go without too much planning and having the closer seats to the game also helps to get them more engaged with the actual game.
