1. Nice to see you finally jumping on board the Deni train and becoming a believer. He needs all of our belief in him because it all starts and ends with his level of confidence. When he has it going he is a top 10-15 player in this league.

   This series will be a lot more competitive with a heroic Toumani like the one that shoots 40% or better on 9+ attempts (we’ve seen it this year several times)

   Either way the spurs won’t be getting an easy walk in the park sweep here!

2. Fox is an all-NBA guy and an All-Star. So that idea that Wemby needs help is kinda strange. Also this idea the Spurs can't shoot–haven't Harper and Castle been like 40% from 3 since the All-Star break?

3. The big pressure is on San Antonio, which everyone expects to win and go far. This pressure is in our favor – we've already done our part and any further achievement is just a bonus. All that's left for Deni and the rest of the team is to enjoy themselves and give everything they have. I think Deni wants to prove to everyone that he's one of the best players in the world, and so he'll rise to the occasion again.

4. Deni has playoffs killer instincts, and on any playoff team that has a 2nd guy that could keep wemby off of being the 2nd line of defense against Deni, we would've seen a great showing of Deni. But Portland doesn't have that 2nd guy. I believe that would impact Deni dramatically.

I see two factors in making the series interesting 1st jerami grant needs to put 25+ pts and 10+ rbs consistently 2nd if the game is close Blazers can't go away from what got them there and thats making plays by screening and cutting. where Blazers get in trouble is they tend to ball watch in crunch time instead of moving the ball side to side exploiting matchups. I've seen this scenario play out so many times in the regular season at some point someone has to call it out. we as fans kno you're tired in crunch time but you can't abandon ship and expect hero plays from each other instead of playing together JS

He's second in points being only 1 point behind luka's 42 and he has The highest box score for a postseason debut in NBA history with 41+7+12. luka is second with 42+7+9. people need to talk about this, it's literally history being made.

10. If we want ANY shot at slowing down Fox, Tiago must play Scoot and let him defend. Jrue and Tou struggle against those jitterbug, lightning quick guards and I don't love Tisse's screen navigation. We're heavy dogs in this series, so now's not the time to play it safe and ride just the veterans. Trust the youth!

12. The blazers can not afford to have anyone be a complete no show. Its not going to be enough for just one blazer like deni to pop off and carry. Gunna need multiple all around great games from the whole team to pull iff this upset.

13. Clingan is the most important player in the series. If he shoots 3s and Wemby has to go out of the paint to guard him . Dany will destroy their small other players at the basket. Clingen without doing too much just being decent 3 point treat can change the series outcome. Webmy out of the paint is the key of the series.

18. The scary thing about the Spurs is that they are very good without Wemby so those non Wemby minutes could still be tough ones. I envision Deni drving and dishing off a lot against the Spurs. We'll need other players to step up and make those shots from Deni's passes. JG and Toumani shooting 3s will be critical.

21. Spurs fan here. Deni is going to get his. He’s incredible. My Spurs just need to make him work by sending multiple guys at him and having Wemby help contest his shots in the paint.

    You hit on many of the key points like limiting your transition points and being smart defensively to limit fouls. We also need to knock down 3 point shots to space the flour for Wemby. If we’re not knocking down 3s, you all can pack the paint to limit our guards driving to the basket.

    It’s going to be a great, competitive series. Both of our teams are young, exciting and on the rise! You all are going to be awesome next year when you get back Dame. Dame has been one of my favorite PGs in the league for years.

    Have tons of respect for Blazers fans. You guys are awesome and support your team really well!
