I’m REALLY WORRIED the Buccaneers will DRAFT Kenyon Sadiq in the 2026 NFL Draft

1. Who cares about defense… we will just out score them 😂

2. I know Bucs need edge rusher but I rather have a younger player like sadiq than have a 25 year old

3. Nice option for the next QB. But you know what I'd do, trade back and load up for 2027-even if it means taking a under value deal.

6. Bucs may not settle for edge #3-5 at pick 15..why not get the top guy at a position of moderate need and is a great athlete? Tons of defensive guys later in the draft

7. I am completely fine with them drafting sadiq if they trade back and get him. That’s best player available and it makes your offense better(more explosive) without forcing our WRs off the field( or at least not as much). But if they do trade back it’s probably DT, an early edge, or an early, line backer

8. You want to look for a new qb next year? Don't upgrade the offense. Don't replace the tall athletic receiver that was mike evans. You want baker to look like an mvp again? its sadiq. Your whole draft strategy is stupid. You want edges that are "probably a starter". Any edge that isn't a guaranteed superstar is an absolutely absurd day 1 or 2 pick. Just worthless. You'd be getting another Yaya after a few years of development.

9. I’ve seen many mock drafts and this would be just idiotic. We already extended Cade otton to a 3 year deal and if we take Sadiq he will not be utilized like the TE he could be. He would be the benchwarmer behind otton and we would not get any value out of the first round pick.

    2. If the Bucs go offense first they are going edge round 2 and linebacker round 3. Because that is where the value is for the draft. There are plenty of edge rushers in rounds 2 and plenty round 3 linebackers. And it’s linebacker they fall pretty often.

12. Bowles defense thrives when we can get pressure. Unfortunately the last few years that hasn't existed consistently on the edge.

19. I would love to draft Sadiq if we didnt already have Devin Culp who runs a fucking 4.4 as a tight end. We already have an athletic TE that we don't use

20. Jason Licht is building the NEXT great Bucs team. Not focusing on this season. I think that’s why Mike Evans left. The Bucs didn’t like the HC candidates which is why Bowles is still here and Mike didn’t want to “waste” another season.

24. I do also have concerns with drafting a TE in Rnd 1. However, If Kenyon ends up being a productive player, then the team is in a very good spot post Goodwin.

25. I would also mention…. There aren’t that many Rnd 1 locks at 15. McCoy is rebounding from a major injury, plus you just drafted two CBs last year in the 2nd and 3rd, and just paid Zyon… All of the edges at that spot have serious red flags. Ioane seems like a sure bet, but most people have him going 14 to the Ravens. This year it seems like anything’s possible at 15

28. there's quite a few players "draft-analyst" have ranked higher than NFL scouts would put them, Sadiq may be one of those players. I don't think Buc's rank him that high. Look at the Tight-ends Buc's have, these are the type of TE they like. Plus they already have a "Sadiq-type" with Culp. I don't see them grapping Sadiq

29. I just dont see him being an all pro. Thats the goal especially for first round picks. Time will tell. Hopefully they're baiting someone to move up. Maybe denver?

31. Lack of tight end didn’t cause Buccs to lose games our defense did. Hoping they find a way to get a top tier defensive player, specifically edge

33. We just cant draft good edge rushers and if we do Bowles will have them drop in coverage. Sadiq or Vega would give the biggest immediate impact. Our interior oline was awful last year and our receivers couldnt get separation.

34. F bucs stay @15 I hope they draft Mesidor but ideally Bucs trade back and draft Mesidor or Howell or CJ Allen or Sadiq or BPA. Maybe even draft Jacob Rodriquez because he won’t be there @46

36. Feels like your saying you would rather reach and settle for less talent just to satisfy the “we need” bucket. Drafting an edge or LB doesn’t mean they will work. If he is the highest player on their board. Lets do it, especially since we will do so much 12 personal, basically a starting position at that point. Plus I’d be OK with Sadiq stealing minutes for Tez Johnson, it helps the run game more

41. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bucs take him. We are terrible at drafting and it we take Sadiq then we will continue to be just a mediocre team that has a chance to back into the playoffs or go home at the end of the season.

    I am surprised so many people think this is a good pick. It would be an awful pick. It would be a different story if we made big moves in free agency to shore up the DL and LB but we were pretty quiet overall. Anzalone is really the only one that I think moves the needle but we need a lot more defensive help.

I'm not sure when this video was made but I'm listening to our GM Jason light if you know anything about" general manager speak"it's a little different than "coach speak "I think they're aiming for a tight end but he's going to get a tight and in the fourth round and he's going to want somebody who can block I'm only guessing so these guys keep their cards close to the vest as well as anybody I've ever seen do it before so but if I had to bet he's looking at one of the fourth round maybe even later but I think he's got a guy in mind for the fourth round I don't know why I think that is the way he was talking…..

There's going to be a couple of guys that would want to look at before Sadiq I think at this point I mean he's a good player and he is a hell of an athlete but what can he do except stretch the field and catch the ball ,can't block so when you put him out there your keying on what we're doing and even when you don't have him on the field your keying as to what you might be doing… I wouldn't be surprised if it's a linebacker in the first round in a perfect world we'd love to have styles butt realistically we might be winding up with CJ Allen but every time you think you have Jason lichts pattern," conservative never trades up" he he throws a monkey wrench in and changes it up and it's all about the player that he sees he's one of the best I've ever seen when it comes to evaluating talent especially young players he's just been off on defensive line only when it comes to defensive end he's really excellent at picking big guys who can play and it doesn't matter what side of the ball they happen to be on, he can't be blamed as to whether or not they're going to be injured all the time but some of these guys are really good and they get some of them out of nowhere IE David Walker I don't know enough about him but this guy Hernandez he is eye opening if you watch him play he's a little light for linebacker that is what he is an off ball linebacker right Hernandez???? And everybody needs to stop forgetting about David Walker the reason they don't seem so desperate at one buc place for a defensive end is probably because they know something we don't I'll bet you walkers opening eyes so hard he's tweaking necks behind closed doors… unless I miss reading it or just having hopeful wishful thinking,there's something about the way they're handling themselves in the front office when it comes to the defensive end that everybody screaming we supposedly need….its almost like they know something we don't isn't it???? or am I just wishing for something that's not there I don't think I am I think Walker's going to be something…
