  16. It’s not even the end of April yet and he’s already at 8 home runs, the same amount he had last april. He’s also exceeded his april rbi numbers and walks from last year. It’s crazy how Rice and Judge both have more home runs than the entire team.

  24. Ya know, for the last 2 years when the underlying metrics kept saying he was a star in the making I wasn’t a believer. I kept thinking he was a nice player but the metrics have to be wrong if theyre saying hes the unluckiest hitter ever. Turns out I was wrong

  32. I remember back a couple years ago, Paul O’Neill had been down on the field with some other Yankee veterans who were in the park, and they were watching batting practice.

    When he came up to the booth he mentioned it, and said (paraphrased from memory) “I’ll tell you what… this kid Rice can play”.

    Yup.
