  1. That was a serious hit on the chin, he definitely looked dazed on the replay

And props to wemby for taking himself out of the game

    Out for the game, damn

  2. Hes gotta be careful with those spin moves, this is the second game in a row where someone pulls the chair on him and he hits the deck

  3. jesus christ that shit really fucks with me i can’t watch it without flinching, hope he’s all good man

  4. Hopefully nothing serious, maybe a concussion by the way he was reacting, he hit his head really hard

  5. Why weren’t medical staff called over by teammates. It was obvious he was fucked up

  6. Seeing him fall was like pretty nuts from a physics perspective. His length caused that impact to be even worse than it probably would be. I hope he’s okay that looked really rough.

  7. Let’s hope at worst it’s a concussion, hopefully not a facial fracture.

Phantom of the Opera facemask incoming, that would be too French lol

  8. 1. Ow that looked really painful

    2. Was worried at first watching live this that it’d be lower body stuff. Don’t get me wrong a hit to the face really sucks but it’s better than going down because of a lower body thing.

Edit: Though watching again it looks like he might’ve gotten knocked out which is crazy. Really hope he’s not concussed and it looks worse than it was.

  9. I scared the hell out until I see he could get up by himself and “ran” to the tunnel

  10. Wemby has to be more in control. I honestly don’t even think that was a foul. It reminds me of how young Kristaps constantly put himself in injury related situations because he just launched himself

  11. Damn it. I hope he’s okay. I want to beat the Spurs and repeat but want the fully healthy spurs. It’s no fun when this stuff happens.

  12. Out of control on the spin, tripped himself up on the defender and crashed very hard on the court. That is brutal. So tall and fast the mf got a concussion from the baseline. Hope he comes back alright. Hopefully nothing is broken and it’s a very mild concussion, but damn that shit hurts without a mouth guard.

  13. wemby approaches the game like a guard. He is too wrekless for my liking. The new NBA has forced centers that should be playing in the paint to continue to evolve and be more versatile but that’s why shit like this will continue to happen.I hope he’s ok but if its a concussion that changes the complexity of the series.Portland will be able to exploit some match ups.Portland have surprised me.That is a good team man!

  14. It is bad for all of basketball if this dude has to miss any serious time. Praying for a speedy recovery, but that looked fucking ROUGH

  15. Can’t believe that was called a foul. Absolute bullshit. You cannot initiate a spin and put your full body weight into it with the expectation of defender resistance. Jrue not using his body to counter Wemby’s spin and dropping his shoulders cannot be a foul.

That said, fully expect this to get reviewed and upgraded to a flagrant somehow.

  16. Tip of the chin is the on off switch for humans……that looked really rough. Could easily be a concussion. Which would fucking suck…..favorite non-Timberwolves player other than KAT. Dude is just so fucking fun to watch, no matter who you are. Need him in the playoffs man.

  17. The way he’s holding his jaw and mouth makes me think he’s acutely aware of some damage there. He ran off to the locker room, which is not exactly the concussion reaction, I don’t think. I wonder if he broke some teeth or bit into his tongue. Maybe fractured his jaw? He’s covering his mouth as he’s talking to Castle.

  18. Why does it always take 3 business days for the trainers to come out in basketball? Do they have to call them from a different building or something

  19. This guy is incredibly talented and unique, but seems like he’s going to have a lot of trouble staying healthy. Understandably so, his frame is very unusual and that combined with the jumping, landing and physical nature of basketball, seems like odd injuries like this are going to be just part of his career IMO.
