Como 1907 is delighted to announce the signing of Italian international midfielder Samuele Ricci from A.C. Milan on loan until the end of the 2026/27 season, with an option to make the move permanent.
Born in 2001, Ricci developed through Empoli’s academy before making his professional debut in Serie B in 2019.
After making 90 appearances for Empoli, he joined Torino in January 2022, initially on loan before making the move permanent that summer. Ricci spent three and a half seasons with the Granata before joining Milan in July 2025.
At 25, Ricci already has more than 200 senior appearances in Italian football and has represented Italy at international level. A composed and technically strong midfielder, he joins Cesc Fàbregas’ squad with considerable Serie A experience and an ability to control the game from midfield.
Como 1907 Head Coach Cesc Fàbregas stated “Samuele is a player we know well. He has great technical quality, intelligence and an excellent ability to manage the ball. I am convinced that his qualities fit well with our style of play and that he can bring a lot to the team. We are very happy to have him with us and we can’t wait to start working together.”
On his arrival in Como, Samuele Ricci said: “I’m thrilled to be here, my first impressions have been great right from the start. I really liked the project the club presented to me, and I can’t wait to get to work for the manager and the team to start this new chapter”.
Welcome to Como, Samuele.
