NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Brown men’s golf team completed play in the weather-shortened 48th Macdonald Cup Golf Tournament at the Yale Golf Club Saturday with an 11th-place finish in the event at +33.
Due to the inclement weather in New Haven and all most of the northeast, the tournament was shortened to the 18-holes that were played under difficult scoring conditions on Friday.
Harvard won the event with a team score of +9. The Crimson’s Alex Zhang was the only golfer in the event to finish under par at -2 (68).
For the second straight event, junior Zach Munno was the Bears’ low medalist at 6-over par 76 finishing tied for 28th overall.
