**UPDATED AS OF TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 AT 3:30 PM ET**

🏈 AFC East◆ Buffalo Bills

The Bills emerged from their Week 8 win over the Ravens absent any fantasy-relevant injuries.

◆ Miami DolphinsDe’Von Achane – RB (knee)

Achane suffered a torn ACL in the team’s Week 3 loss to the Chiefs, ending his season.

Impact: Achane’s unfortunate season-ending injury creates opportunity for Ollie Gordon and Jaylen Wright. The timing of the injury makes it likely that Achane is able to fully recover before the start of the 2027 regular season.

◆ New England PatriotsMack Hollins – WR (calf)

Hollins departed the team’s Week 4 win over the Bills with a calf injury and did not return. He was placed on injured reserve in Week 5.

Impact: Veteran practice squad call-up Efton Chism saw the biggest increase in routes following Hollins’ departure, which was particularly interesting considering the team’s general lack of downfield abilities. Perhaps Kyle Williams could finally see additional time on the field.

Romeo Doubs – WR (shoulder)

Doubs was placed on injured reserve following a shoulder injury sustained in Week 6. He will miss the next four games, at minimum.

Impact: The Patriots have now played only 33 offensive snaps with both Doubs and A.J. Brown on the field together this season after Doubs was injured on his second offensive snap in Week 6. Brown returned from injured reserve in Week 6 and should have the runway to return WR1 numbers while Doubs remains sidelined.

A.J. Brown – WR (ankle)

Brown was limited on Wednesday but downgraded to “DNP” Thursday and Friday, ultimately ruled out for Week 8 against the Dolphins. Speaking to media Monday, head coach Mike Vrabel said, “We’ll see,” when asked if Brown would practice this week.

Impact: Brown’s absence leaves only DeMario Douglas, Kyle Williams, and Efton Chism as healthy wide receivers currently on the roster. The most intriguing upside case to be made is with Williams in a potential full-time role on the perimeter, where his downfield acumen brings tantalizing ceiling.

TreVeyon Henderson – RB (illness)

Henderson was ruled out Saturday with an illness after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday. We’ll get an update on his status Wednesday.

Impact: Rhamondre Stevenson should operate as a clear workhorse for as long as Henderson remains sidelined, while Corey Kiner is in line to serve as the primary change of pace option.

◆ New York JetsBreece Hall – RB (quadriceps)

Hall has missed the previous five games but is tentatively expected to return in Week 9 against the Chiefs.

Impact: Hall would appear to be on track to resume lead-back duties for the Jets. Braelon Allen may have earned himself a weekly rushing role during Hall’s absence, though we will not know for sure until this week’s game transpires. Hall is a high-end RB2. Allen is flex-viable.

🏈 AFC North◆ Baltimore RavensLamar Jackson – QB (thumb)

Jackson returned from an ankle injury in Week 8 and made it all of one offensive snap before suffering a thumb injury that is likely to sideline him for the remainder of the regular season.

Impact: Jackson’s absence is the biggest hit to the fantasy value of alpha receiver Zay Flowers, who falls to a mid-range WR2 in rest of season rankings.

Tyler Huntley – QB (toe)

Huntley suffered a turf toe injury in the team’s Week 8 loss to the Bills and is expected to miss “extended time.”
Impact: The Ravens suddenly find themselves in scramble mode to save a sinking season, with both Lamar Jackson and Huntley expected to miss significant time, the former of whom appears to be done for the season. Rookie Joe Fagnano came on in relief against the Bills and could not sustain drives, leaving the team in dire need of consistent quarterback play. They could address that need in the final week before the NFL trade deadline next Tuesday, but that is unlikely to take place before they face the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football. Fagnano is reportedly dealing with an ankle injury and was seen wearing an ankle guard/brace in practice Tuesday. He is tentatively expected to start on Thursday.

Joe Fagnano – QB (ankle)

See above.
Impact: See above.

Adam Randall – RB (undisclosed)

The Ravens activated Randall’s 21-day practice window on Wednesday.

Impact: Randall can be stashed in deep leagues.

Durham Smythe – TE (Achilles)

Smythe suffered a torn Achilles in the team’s Week 4 win over the Titans. His season is done.

Impact: It was Matt Hibner who saw the largest increase in snaps following Smythe’s departure in Week 4, making it unlikely we see veteran Mark Andrews in a more robust role.

◆ Cincinnati BengalsAndrei Iosivas – WR (thumb)

The Bengals placed Iosivas on injured reserve in Week 3

Impact: Wide receivers Colbie Young and Dohnte Meyers will duke it out for the No. 3 wide receiver role for at least the next four weeks. Meyers can be added in 14-team leagues, though his upside is questionable.

Erick All – TE (knee)

All suffered a torn ACL in Week 7. He was placed on injured reserve Tuesday and will miss the remainder of the regular season.

Impact: All loses yet another season in devastating fashion after suffering his third torn ACL. His absence could provide a slight uptick in snap rate and route participation for Mike Gesicki, although he will be a difficult weekly start for as long as both Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins remain healthy.

◆ Cleveland BrownsRaheim Sanders – RB (hip)The Browns placed Sanders on injured reserve in Week 6.

Impact: He will be eligible to return after four games missed.

◆ Pittsburgh SteelersMichael Pittman – WR (foot)

Pittman was limited on Wednesday before being seen using a scooter in the locker room after practice. It was then revealed that Pittman aggravated his foot injury. The Steelers placed him on injured reserve late in Week 5. The hope is that Pittman returns following the team’s Week 9 bye.

Impact: Pittman’s absence opens the door for additional opportunities behind DK Metcalf, a role that now appears to be on rookie Germie Bernard‘s shoulders following the multi-week injury suffered by Roman Wilson in Week 5. Ben Skowronek (calf) resumed practicing in Week 8.

Roman Wilson – WR (finger)

Wilson departed in the second half of Week 5 with a finger injury and is reportedly looking at a multi-game absence. He was ruled out for Week 6 on Friday and placed on injured reserve on Saturday.

Impact: See above.

🏈 AFC South◆ Houston TexansJaylin Noel – WR (toe)

Noel suffered a turf toe injury in Week 7. The Texans placed him on injured reserve in Week 8. He is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season.

Impact: Tank Dell and recent acquisition Marvin Harrison Jr. would be in line to benefit. Harrison should be added in 12-team formats.

David Montgomery – RB (groin)

Head coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that Montgomery is “week-to-week” with a groin injury. Head coach DeMeco Ryans failed to provide an update on the veteran back’s status Monday after he missed the previous two games.

Impact: The expected multi-game absence leaves Woody Marks atop the backfield depth chart. He is a viable FLEX starter, but the Texans showed in Week 6 that they will continue splitting backfield touches.

Jawhar Jordan – RB (undisclosed)

The Texans placed Jordan on injured reserve in Week 7.

Impact: Jordan prevented Marks from handling a full-time role in Week 6. Dare Ogunbowale will probably do the same while Montgomery is sidelined.

Jayden Higgins – WR (knee)

Higgins saw his 2026 season taken from him due to a torn ACL suffered in camp.

Impact: It’s a massive blow to a Texans team that was counting on Higgins taking another step forward in his Sophomore campaign. The team traded for Kayshon Boutte in the wake of the injury and then added Marvin Harrison Jr. in a deal with the Cardinals ahead of Week 6.

◆ Indianapolis ColtsAlec Pierce – WR (heel)

Pierce aggravated the injury that required offseason surgery in Week 2. The Colts placed him on injured reserve in Week 3. He will attempt to avoid surgery by rehabbing his injured heel. Head coach Shane Steichen said Pierce won’t practice this week.

Impact: Josh Downs should serve as the primary option through the air for as long as Pierce remains sidelined. The team signed veteran field-stretcher Darius Slayton in the wake of Pierce’s injury, although he is unlikely to return weekly fantasy production. Slayton (knee) was ruled out for Week 5 on Friday.

◆ Jacksonville JaguarsBayshul Tuten – RB (ankle/foot)

Tuten was listed as a “DNP” on Monday’s estimated practice report before failing to practice Tuesday, placing his status in doubt for Thursday’s game against the Ravens.

Impact: Tuten has emerged as a borderline workhorse for the Jaguars in recent weeks. An absence would boost the fantasy value of Chris Rodriguez, who would be a volume-based RB2 against the Ravens, should Tuten be unable to go.

◆ Tennessee TitansTyjae Spears – RB (knee)

Spears is listed as questionable in what seems like a weekly occurrence. He ultimately did not play in Week 7. Spears did not play in Week 8.

Impact: Tony Pollard operated in a workhorse role in the absence of Spears in the team’s Week 7 loss to the Browns, a setup that could persist should Spears miss additional time. Pollard is a middling RB2 without Spears in a difficult matchup.

Carnell Tate – WR (shoulder)

Tate did not practice throughout the week before being ruled out for Week 8 Friday.

Impact: Wan’Dale Robinson is in line to serve as the top option through the air against the inside-funnel Cincinnati defense. He garners viable FLEX status. Fantasy managers will want to monitor the status of Tate through the team’s Week 9 bye.

🏈 AFC West◆ Denver BroncosPat Bryant – WR (ankle)

Bryant suffered an ankle injury in the team’s Week 4 loss to the 49ers and is reportedly expected to miss “a few weeks.” He was placed on injured reserve on Friday.

Impact: Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims appear to be the next men up in Bryant’s absence, although the team could use a “sum of all parts” mentality to bridge his absence, considering historical trends. Alpha wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would be the primary beneficiary.

RJ Harvey – RB (knee)

Harvey popped on the injury report Thursday with a knee injury and was ruled outfor Week 8 Friday. He was placed on injured reserve Saturday and will miss the next four weeks, at minimum.

Impact: Harvey’s absence returns the backfield to a two-way timeshare in the absence of Tyler Badie, with rookie Jonah Coleman the favorite for featured usage. Coleman can be started as a viable RB2 option in the coming weeks.

◆ Kansas City ChiefsTyquan Thornton – WR (ankle)

Thornton suffered a devastating ankle injury due to a hip-drop tackle in Week 4. He is reportedly set to undergo surgery within the week and will miss 12-16 weeks.

Impact: The return of Rashee Rice left little volume for the secondary options through the air in Week 8, a setup that appears likely to continue forward for the Chiefs.

◆ Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders emerged from their Week 8 win over the Jets absent any fantasy-relevant injuries.

◆ Los Angeles ChargersDavid Njoku – TE (fibula)

Njoku is reportedly set to see his 21-day practice window opened in the coming days.

Impact: Minimal. The Chargers have been the most disappointing offense in the league through the half way point of the season.

🏈 NFC East◆ Dallas CowboysJake Ferguson – TE (ankle)

Ferguson departed the team’s Week 8 loss to the Cardinals with an ankle injury in the first quarter and did not return.

Impact: Brevin Span-Ford is on hand to handle primary tight ends duties, should Ferguson miss time. He would not be a recommended streaming option outside of the deepest leagues.

Malik Davis – RB (hip)

Davis was placed on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2026 season.

Impact: The Cowboys released both Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah at roster cuts and now have only Emari Demercado on the active roster behind starter Javonte Williams. Expect Israel Abanikanda to be elevated to the active roster from the practice squad for Week 2, while Williams appears likely to see all the work he can handle against the Commanders. Williams is a locked-in RB1.

◆ New York GiantsJaxson Dart – QB (knee)

Dart injured his MCL, PCL and meniscus on the team’s first possession of Monday Night Football against the Rams. He will undergo surgery to address the MCL and meniscus and miss the rest of the regular season. Giants head coach John Harbaugh said it is possible for Dart to return in the postseason, although this is unlikely.

Impact: Backup Jameis Winston was benched in favor of recent acquisition J.J. McCarthy in the second half of their loss to the Saints. Head coach John Harbaugh confirmed McCarthy as the starter for Week 7.

Cam Skattebo – RB (hamstring)

Skattebo was seen working with trainers on Monday as he deals with a hamstring injury.

Impact: Skattebo appears headed for change of pace duties in short order as the team continues to pursue Jonathan Taylor. More to come in the next few days as the trade deadline rapidly approaches.

◆ Philadelphia EaglesSaquon Barkley – RB (back/hamstring)

Barkley returned from a two-game absence in Week 7, only to suffer an unrelated injury (back) in the second quarter. He played to little effect in Week 8 against the Comanders.

Impact: Barkley is difficult to trust in a poor matchup considering his current ailments. Dameon Pierce and Tank Bigsby remain on injured reserve.

Dameon Pierce – RB (undisclosed)

Pierce was injuredon a kick return in the fourth quarter of the team’s Week 7 loss to the Cowboys. He was placed on injured reserve the following Wednesday.

Impact: See above.

DeVonta Smith – WR (hamstring)

Smith was ruled out for Week 7 on Saturday. Smith has repeatedly aggravated the hamstring strain he initially injured in August. He remains sidelined to begin Week 8 and was ruled out Friday.

Impact: Wide receivers Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) and Britain Covey (knee) are also out for Week 8. Tight end Dallas Goedert and Makai Lemon benefit.

Tank Bigsby – RB (core)

See above.

Impact: See above.

Jalen Hurts – QB (blood clots)

Team doctors discovered a blood clot in Hurts’ calf. He was ruled out for Week 6 and could be looking at an extended absence. He was placed on injured reserve on Saturday after more clots were found in his lungs.

Impact: Hurts is currently sidelined indefinitely. Tanner McKee enters the starting lineup under center following the release of Andy Dalton. The Philadelphia offense could be in trouble in the immediate future considering the sheer number of injuries.

Will Shipley – RB (foot)

Shipley reportedly suffered a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his foot in Week 5. He is expected to miss multiple weeks.

Impact: See above.

◆ Washington CommandersTerry McLaurin – WR (knee)

McLaurin suffered a season-ending patellar tendon rupture in Week 6.

Impact: Treylon Burks should step into primary perimeter snaps, although he suffered an apparent injury late in the fourth quarter. No update has been passed on Burks as of Tuesday. Stefon Diggs will likely serve as the de facto No. 1 wide receiver moving forward.

Jaylin Lane – WR (ankle)

Lane suffered a dislocated ankle and fracture in Week 4 and is likely done for the season.

Impact: Minimal. Lane was primarily a special teams contributor.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt – RB (groin)

Croskey-Merritt was unable to practice this week and ruled out for Week 6 against the 49ers. The team placed him on injured reserve on Saturday.

Impact: Expect Rachaad White to fill in as the primary rusher, with Austin Ekeler on hand to soak up primary change of pace duties. White can be started as a viable FLEX option while Ekeler is likely best left on fantasy benches.

Jeremy McNichols – RB (foot)

McNichols suffered a foot injury in Week 8 that the team is currently testing to identify the severity of.

Impact: Rachaad White and veteran Austin Ekeler are suddenly the only two healthy backs on the Washington roster, neither of whom is an overly exciting fantasy option on a struggling offense. White is the preferred option and could be started as a viable FLEX, should McNichols miss time.

🏈 NFC North◆ Chicago BearsKyle Monangai – RB (thumb/toe)

Head coach Ben Johnson labeled Monangai as “day-to-day” with a thumb injury suffered in Week 4, but he was later revealed to have suffered a turf toe injury as well. He remains sidelined for the Bears’ Week 7 game against the Patriots on Thursday. He was ruled out for Week 8 Saturday.

Impact: D’Andre Swift is an RB1. Roschon Johnson can be stashed.

Cole Kmet – TE (knee)

Kmet suffered a season-ending knee injury in the team’s Thursday Night Football win over the Patriots.

Impact: Expect Sam Roush to serve as the team’s TE2 for the remainder of the season, while second-year tight end Colston Loveland should continue his recent ascension back into TE1 territory.

◆ Detroit LionsIsiah Pacheco – RB (back)

Pacheco was placed on injured reserve to start the season. General Manager Brad Holmes said he “hopes Pacheco returns this season.”

Impact: Well, that doesn’t sound great. There appears to be something more insidious going on with Pacheco’s back than initially thought. Lions coach Dan Campbell said running backs Jacob Saylors and Sione Vaki could split touches behind Jahmyr Gibbs. Saylors appears to be the first player up. Gibbs handled an absurd 34 opportunities, of 37 total running back opportunities, in the team’s Week 1, overtime win over the Saints

◆ Green Bay PackersMatthew Golden – WR (shoulder/foot)

Golden gutted through multiple injuries on Thursday Night Football.

Impact: None.

Christian Watson – WR (chest)

In one of the wilder stories of Week 8, Watson was knocked from Thursday Night Football with a chest injury, was taken by ambulance to the hospital, and returned in the second half to finish the game.

Impact: Fantasy managers will want to monitor his situation in the coming week, although Watson appears to have avoided significant injury.

Jayden Reed – WR (neck)

Reed suffered a scary-looking neck injury that required stabilization in the team’s Week 2 win over the Jets. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said on Tuesday that it is “way too early” to determine whether Reed will play again in 2026. That said, he was not placed on injured reserve ahead of their Week 3 contest. He will reportedly undergo surgery.

Impact: Beyond the football implications, it is good to hear Reed avoided any life-altering injuries in Week 2. Skyy Moore and Bo Melton are likely to soak up additional snaps, although volume is most likely to concentrate on Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, and Tucker Kraft.

Chris Brooks – RB (ankle)

Brooks suffered an ankle injury in the team’s Week 4 win over the Buccaneers and is reportedly undergoing further testing. He did not play in Week 5 or Week 6.

Impact: Brooks had been the most consistent rusher in a timeshare situation. Kaleb Johnson lost another fumble in Week 4, leaving MarShawn Lloyd as the likely beneficiary for as long as Brooks remains sidelined, although that role carries little value for the team with the fewest rush attempts in the league through the first month of the season.

Skyy Moore – WR (ankle)

Moore sported a walking boot instead of practicing on Wednesday. He was ruled out for Week 6 on Friday.

Impact: Should he miss time, the Packers’ star players would further consolidate touches.

◆ Minnesota VikingsKyler Murray – QB (hamstring)Murray was reportedly “slowed” by a hamstring injury in the team’s Week 8 loss to the Lions and is undergoing further tests to identify the severity.

Impact: The injury appears to be of minor severity, meaning there likely isn’t a change to his fantasy value moving forward.

👉 Don’t forget: Check out the Rotoworld player news feed for all the latest news, notes, and transactions around the league.🏈 NFC South◆ Atlanta FalconsBrian Robinson – RB (hamstring)

Robinson was limited on Wednesday before missing practice Thursday and Friday. He was ruled out for Week 7 on Friday. He remains sidelined to begin Week 8 before being ruled outFriday.

Impact: This directly benefits lead back Bijan Robinson, who typically cedes meaningful touch counts to Robinson.

◆ Carolina PanthersJonathan Brooks – RB (groin)

Brooks aggravated the groin injury that forced him to miss the end of camp. The Panthers placed him on injured reserve in Week 3. He is expected to undergo core muscle surgery. Head coach Dave Canales said Monday that the team is “weighing” whether to open his practice window this week.

Impact: Chuba Hubbard enters the volume-driven RB1 discussion in Brooks’ absence. Trevor Etienne (ankle) is practicing in full and can be stashed in 14-team leagues, while AJ Dillon was ruled out.

◆ New Orleans SaintsTravis Etienne – RB (hamstring)

Head coach Kellen Moore said Monday that the team is still deciding when to activate Etienne’s 21-day practice window.

Impact: Alvin Kamara and Kendre Miller appear likely to split the load in Etienne’s absence, neither of whom is overly enticing in fantasy circles in what is expected to be a shared workload.

Jordyn Tyson – WR (hamstring)

Head coach Kellen Moore said Monday that the team is still deciding when to activate Tyson’s 21-day practice window as the rookie looks to return from injured reserve.

Impact: Fantasy managers waiting on Tyson’s return could be forced to wait another week.

◆ Tampa Bay BuccaneersJalen McMillan – WR (knee)

McMillan suffered a sprained PCL in his first game action of the season in Week 3. The team placed him on injured reserve Monday, with an expected absence of 6-8 weeks.

Impact: Not much change considering he made his season debut in Week 3, although rookie Ted Hurst should remain in the starting lineup.

Emeka Egbuka – WR (foot/concussion)

Egbuka was ruled out for Week 7 on Friday. He was limited to begin Week 8 but was ruled out due to his foot injury Friday.

Impact: Wide receivers Chris Godwin (eight) and Ted Hurst (six) trailed Egbuka in targets (16) last week and are in line to benefit from Egbuka’s absence. Tight end Cade Otton could also see additional volume over the middle of the field.

🏈 NFC West◆ Arizona CardinalsJeremiyah Love – RB (ankle)

The team placed Love on injured reserve after yet another ankle injury sustained in Week 8.

Impact: Bam Knight suffered a concussion in Week 8 that could sideline him for Week 9 against the Seahawks. Tyler Allgeier suddenly finds himself atop the team’s depth chart and can be started as a viable FLEX option in a difficult matchup.

Jalen Brooks – WR (wrist)

Brooks had emergency surgery on his wrist and will miss the remainder of the regular season.

Impact: The team signed veteran Zay Jones Tuesday in an associated move. Expect volume to continue to remain heavily concentrated on Michael Wilson and Trey McBride. Elijah Higgins is notable for DFS purposes.

Michael Wilson – WR (ribs)

Wilson stated he is playing through two broken ribs following Sunday’s comeback win over the Cowboys.

Impact: Fantasy managers will want to track his status throughout the week closely, but it appears Wilson will play for as long as he can manage the pain.

◆ Los Angeles RamsTerrance Ferguson – TE (ankle)

Ferguson aggravated an ankle injury in the team’s Week 3 loss to the Broncos and was sent to injured reserve. As of Week 8, he needs more rehab time.

Impact: Colby Parkinson (ribs) begins Week 8 sidelined. Tyler Higbee is a viable TE1/2 in fantasy if Parkinson sits out in Week 8.

Davante Adams – WR (hamstring)The Rams placed Adams on injured reserve with a ruptured hamstring tendon. He underwent surgery in Week 8, and head coach Sean McVay said his return timeline is “probably closer” to the shorter end of the expected 6-10 week timeline.

Impact: Puka Nacua should see all the volume he can handle in the absence of Adams, while a shift to heavier rates of 12- and 13-personnel is likely in store for the Rams as they fight through another significant injury. Tyler Higbee suddenly finds himself a fantasy TE1, at least until Ferguson returns, while Nacua challenges for overall WR1. A recent ESPN report indicates the Rams will explore the trade market, though head coach Sean McVay denies it. Adams could be replaced as the team’s No. 2 wide receiver while injured. Trading him away now could pay off.

Colby Parkinson – TE (ribs)

Parkinson did not play in Week 8.

Impact: Davis Allen could warrant FLEX consideration in what is expected to be a 12-personnel-heavy offense.

◆ San Francisco 49ersChristian McCaffrey – RB (hamstring)

McCaffrey was in and out of the lineup in Week 7 due to a hamstring injury, which head coach Kyle Shanahan labeled as minor on Monday. He is expected to play in Week 9 following the team’s bye.

Impact: Fantasy managers will want to track McCaffrey’s status closely considering his value to rosters, although the team’s Week 8 bye should theoretically provide enough time to where he doesn’t miss any games. Kaelon Black should be rostered everywhere.

Mike Evans – WR (Achilles)

Evans aggravated his Achilles injury in Week 6 and is expected to “miss some time.” He was ruled out for Week 7 on Friday but expected to return for Week 9 following the team’s Week 8 bye.

Impact: The hits to the San Francisco pass catchers continue as Evans now appears to be in line to miss at least Week 7. The team has its bye in Week 8, potentially setting up a situation where Evans misses only one contest. Expect volume to concentrate on Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, with the team also expected to be without Deebo Samuel for their game against the Falcons. As you can see below, there are now five wide receivers unavailable for the 49ers.

Demarcus Robinson – WR (ankle)

Robinson suffered a high-ankle sprain in the team’s Week 2 win over the Dolphins. He will miss significant time.

Impact: Reports suggest Jacob Cowing will be leaned on to fill the void left behind by the injuries to Robinson and De’Zhaun Stribling. Expect Mike Evans, assuming health, Christian McCaffrey, and George Kittle to soak up additional volume.

Deebo Samuel – WR (hamstring)

Samuel suffered a hamstring injury in the team’s Week 5 win over the Seahawks. He is expected to miss multiple weeks and was ruled out for Week 7 Friday. He reportedly has a chance to return in Week 9 following the team’s Week 8 bye.

Impact: The Athletic’s Matt Barrows believes Brandin Cooks is the “next man up” for a 49ers team absolutely devastated by injuries. Cooks can be added from waivers after serving as the de facto WR2 opposite Mike Evans once Samuel departed.

De’Zhaun Stribling – WR (ankle)

Stribling suffered an ankle injury in the team’s Week 1 win over the Rams. The 49ers placed him on injured reserve in Week 2 after he underwent surgery to repair a deltoid ligament tear. He is expected to return in 10 weeks.

Impact: The Athletic’s Matt Barrows believes Demarcus Robinson will be the primary beneficiary.

Ricky Pearsall – WR (knee)

Pearsall was placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Impact: Pearsall will miss the entirety of the 2026 season.

◆ Seattle SeahawksRashid Shaheed – WR (knee)

Shaheed injured his knee during a collision with teammate Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Week 7. Head coach Mike Macdonald said Mondaythat the “early returns are positive” on his injury. He was ruled out for Week 8 Saturday.

Impact: An absence theoretically leaves additional opportunities for veteran Cooper Kupp.
