On that note, anyone NOT in Houston watch and support the ā€˜Stros?

  1. Louisiana’s fandom is interesting because it’s split mainly between Rangers, Astros, and Braves then you have the usual Yankees fans but also maybe from Ron Guidry’s years there. You also have a pocket of Cubs fans who used to watch it on WGNO back in the day

  2. Seattle-based now, but still repping the Astros deep in enemy territory (and oh boy, Mariners fans can be insufferable given their on-field “success”).

  3. I’m in Alabama, right on the Georgia border in Braves Country. So Stros are repped here too

  4. Moved to STL a few years ago and love getting to watch every Astros game with mlb tv. I’ve been to Busch stadium for almost every Astros game and fans & staff have been nothing but nice

  5. Representing the Stros here in NC! Although I’m surprised to see our #1 team not be the Braves.

  6. Living in northern Colorado and proudly repping Astros gear. Been a fan since I was a kid in the 90s and I’m still a fan now even though I live in a different state.

  7. Hi from Georgia, by way of Florida. There’s a nice contingent of Astros fans in Florida, particularly Kissimmee, since that’s where the Astros had Spring Training before there were any Florida baseball teams. At the time, all of my friends were either Braves fans (thanks to Ted Turner and TBS) or Astros fans.

  8. New Mexico and Wyoming need to reevaluate their life priorities. Good lord. At least root for a west coast team or Colorado. So disappointing

Edit: Also WTF Tennessee!? Now second guessing the numbers.

And…yeah! Why would Astros fans be relegated to Houston? ATX repping. Almost all my friends here are ā€˜Stros fans. One Phillies, but can’t blame the guy for growing up there. We’ll alternate watching Phils and Astros. Admittedly Phila has a fun team to watch.

  9. Arkansas here, every day I can I watch the Stros! Wear one of my three jerseys out all over too. Really happy my 2017 style Correa jersey is seeing more time out of the closet.

  10. Houston native here, who lives in Boise. Idaho has a mix of Mariners and Dodgers fans, but baseball is definitely not the #1 sport, so ….

  11. That’s awesome…. Louisiana being fans of the Astros means we are growing as a franchise 🄲

  12. Honestly with Jersey, you really could really say that North Jersey is Yanks and South Jersey is Phillies.

  13. I live in SC now and the braves are 100% the most popular team, maybe theres a lot of YES members from NY/NJ but you see infinitely more braves merch and car stickers.

  14. Repping the Stros here in the Mile High.šŸ”ļø Been a fan since playing with Clemens, Biggio, and Berkman on MVP Baseball 2005.

  15. This is like when I walk by another big ass dude and we both give each other the head nod. Big Man Love.

  16. I am Alaskan. I became an Astros fan by playing as them in Ken Griffey Jr’s slugfest on the 64. Loved their uniform, Biggio, Bagwell, Alou, and Shane Reynolds had a nasty splitter. Been an Astros ever since.Ā

  17. There were some kids for Alaska in my most recent NDT classes, they were fun, seems like a great place.

  18. Houston Born, repping our squad, in Florida now. Two teams here and Yankees are still the most viewed team page in the state

  19. We live in Houston now, but my husband is a native New Orleanean who has followed the Astros his whole life.

  20. I’m from New Orleans and grew up and Astros fan. My dad would always take me to 3 or 4 weekend home series a year. It was a short drive and in the late 80’s and early 90’s you could catch most Astros games on the radio in New Orleans.

  21. I think Texas is the Rangers. Everybody in the Valley and West Texas are Rangers fans. Stros fandom is quite regional.

  22. Florida checking in here. Been an Astros fan as long as I can remember. Go Stros!

  23. We relocated to Virginia and this is one of the two things I miss about living in Texas, the other being HEB.

  24. From Houston, moved to Vermont in 2019 and always watching or listening to the Arrow!
