RAPID CITY, S.D. – As we near the end the high school baseball regular season, the Rapid City Stevens Raiders seem to be hitting their stride.

The Raiders won their sixth game in a row on Wednesday with 10-9 win over Rapid City Central.

Stevens led by a score of 8-1 in the fourth inning

But the Cobblers battled back to tie it up at 9 a piece in the sixth inning.

However, Nolan Williamson singled in the bottom of the seventh, scoring the winning run.

Stevens improves to 12-5 on the season.

In fact, the Raiders are currently second in the Class ‘A’ standings.

The Cobblers fall to 7-14.

Post 22 outlasts the Gillette Riders

Post 22 improved to 8-0 on the season with a win over the Gillette Riders on Wednesday, 4-3.

The game was tied at 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh, when Jace Morgan hit an RBI single to secure the win for Post 22.

The Hardhats will be on the road this Saturday and Sunday to play the Missoula Mavericks.
