READING, Pa. (KTRE) – Former Jasper Bulldog John McMillon threw a scoreless inning in a relief appearance in Reading’s 5-4 loss to New Hampshire on Wednesday.
McMillon entered the game in the ninth inning and got the first batter to fly out. He then gave up a single before inducing a lineout from the third batter. After the runner advanced to second base on a wild pitch, McMillon struck out the final batter.
McMillon threw 13 pitches with eight being strikes and lowered his ERA to 6.43.
Reading (20-37) is in sixth place in their division. They play New Hamphshire on Thursday at 6 p.m.
