Taking the mound for the Giants will be right-hander Logan Webb, who enters tonight’s game with a 2.58 ERA, 2.13 FIP, with 101 strikeouts to 17 walks in 87.1 innings pitched. His last start was in the Giants’ 3-2 win over the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, in which he allowed two runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts in six innings.
He’ll be facing off against Dodgers right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who enters tonight’s game with a 2.20 ERA, 2.90 FIP, with 86 strikeouts to 25 walks in 73.2 innings pitched. His last start was in the Dodgers’ 2-1 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday, in which he allowed just four walks and two hits with nine strikeouts in six innings.
