VFL Christian Moore called up by Los Angeles Angels, per report

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (WVLT) – Less than a year from his final college baseball game at Tennessee, Christian Moore is on his way to the big leagues.

Baseball America’s Taylor Blake Ward was the first to report that the 2024 first-round pick is on his way to Los Angeles.

Moore was called up to Triple-A Salt Lake on May 20. Since then, he’s batted .350 with 4 home runs and 18 RBI.

Moore joins six other VFLs currently in the major leagues. MLB.com ranks Moore as the No. 56 overall prospect in baseball.
