The College World Series continues on with Day 2 competition in Omaha.
Much like the opening day’s slate of CWS games, the June 14 schedule at Charles Schwab Field Omaha is filled with storylines and features some of the top prospects in the upcoming MLB draft.
Murray State looks to continue in its Cinderella run during its debut at the Mecca of college baseball vs. No. 15 UCLA. The marquee event of the day, however, is an SEC-vs.-SEC heavyweight matchup between Wehiwa Aloy and No. 3 Arkansas and Kade Anderson and No. 6 LSU. The Tigers took the regular-season series against the Razorbacks.
By the rules of the College World Series format, the winners of June 14th’s doubleheader will advance in the “winner’s bracket” of Bracket 2 play, while the losers of each game will meet in the “elimination bracket” on June 16.
