The 2025 MLB draft will take place on July 13-14, but before then will be the combine, where 322 players will try to boost their draft stock and meet with the teams. The combine will take place from June 17-21 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Florida State Seminoles will be well-represented.

Seven different Seminoles are set to attend the event, including potential top 10 pick Jamie Arnold. He is joined by pitchers Evan Chrest, Peyton Prescott, and Joey Volini. The position players are Drew Faurot, Alex Lodise, and Max Williams. Faurot, who played second base at FSU, is listed as a shortstop.

Arnold had another great year in 2025, going 8-2 with a 2.98 ERA. In 84.2 innings, he recorded 119 strikeouts against 63 hits and 27 walks. Chrest was a midday starter for FSU before suffering an injury and was limited to just four starts. He had a 2.70 ERA in 16.2 innings, holding opponents to a .238 batting average.

Prescott had a 5.15 ERA in 36.2 innings, making 24 appearances and one start. He left FSU’s final game of the season with an arm injury. Volini was FSU’s No. 2 starter all season, going 8-5 with a 3.50 ERA in 87.1 innings. He had 105 strikeouts and held opponents to a .238 batting average.

Lodise won the Dick Howser Trophy hitting .394 with 17 home runs, 18 doubles, 68 RBI, and 62 runs scored. Faurot hit .307 with 16 homers, eight doubles, 51 RBI, and 51 runs scored.

Williams hit .321 with 19 home runs, nine doubles, 53 RBI, and 47 runs scored. He played centerfield for FSU but could be moving to a corner spot at the next level.
