Myles Garrett was back in his hometown to share a special Father’s Day moment with his dad.
The Cleveland Browns star threw the ceremonial first pitch to his father, Lawrence, ahead of Sunday’s Rangers-White Sox series finale. Garrett, an Arlington native, seemed to place his pitch well, but his dad couldn’t come up with the catch.
The Garretts hugged and posed for a photo together after the pitch.

Before Garrett went on to NFL stardom, he was a standout at Arlington Martin. He was one of the Dallas area’s top high school defenders, moving on to Texas A&M at the collegiate level.
Garrett has spent his entire professional career with the Cleveland Browns, being selected by the franchise with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft. He agreed to a massive extension with the Browns this offseason.
