For the first time in what seems like forever, the Athletics have a chance at a series sweep on Sunday afternoon, hoping to finish off the Royals on Father’s Day in Kansas City before heading back home.
The starting pitcher for the A’s today will be left-hander Jeffrey Springs. After making a couple successful bulk appearances he’ll now return to the mound for his 13th start of the year. He’ll bring a 4.64 ERA into this outing.
