SYRACUSE 6, JACKSONVILLE 5 / 11 (BOX)

Syracuse and Jacksonville went back and forth throughout the game, and the Mets squeaked by in extras.

The teams battled in the first three innings, with the Mets going down 1-0 in the first, but going up 2-1 on the back of home runs by Luke Ritter and Luis De Los Santos. Jacksonville jumped back out in front in the seventh inning, and took a 3-2 lead into the ninth.

The Mets managed to load the bases with two away in the top of the ninth, and tied it up when Diego A. Castillo walked in the tying run, pushing the game into extras.

Both teams scored in the tenth, and took a 4-4 tie into the 11th. Hayden Senger drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, and Castillo added an insurance run with a single. Jacksonville plated one run in the bottom of the frame, but Chris Devenski closed the door for the win.

BINGHAMTON 9, READING 7 (BOX)

Reading jumped all over starter Zach Thornton and Hunter Parsons, who was the first man out of the bullpen in this one. They scored six of their seven runs on them, putting themselves up 6-0 by the fourth inning.

Binghamton started the comeback with a two run home run off the bat of Ryan Clifford in the sixth, making it 6-2. Reading added one in the eighth, but the bottom of the frame saw the comeback begin in earnest. Nick Lorusso made it 7-3 with a single, and back to back errors, one throwing and one fielding, made the deficit 7-6.

That set the scene for the bottom of the ninth, when WIlliam Lugo capped off the comeback with a three run home run to make it a 9-7 victory.

ASHVILLE 6, BROOKLYN 5 (BOX)

Brooklyn did the opposite of what Binghamton did, running out to an early lead and blowing it in the later innings.

Jesus Baez drove in three with a first inning double, and Boston Baro chased him home when he reached on an error. Marco Vargas drove in a run in the second inning, making it 5-0. It all seemed fine and dandy.

But it was not fine nor dandy.

Ashville scored one in the second, two in the fourth, and three in the sixth to complete the comeback, and give the Cyclones a tough loss.

ST. LUCIE 4, CLEARWATER 1 (BOX)

St. Lucie played the only normal game out of any of the teams in the organization — save for the major lead squad. They went up 3-0 in the first inning, with two coming off the back of a Colin Houck single, and the third on a throwing error later in the frame.

Clearwater got one back in the second, but the Mets answered that with a Jeremy Rodriguez sacrifice fly in the fourth. They coasted to a 4-1 win from there.
