LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – It isn’t all just baseball in Omaha for the University of Louisville squad. There was time for some fun, too and they got to visit some very special fans.
The team spent its off day visiting patients at Children’s Nebraska and making new Cards fans.
They signed some autographs, hit some balls with the kids and even got to visit with their therapy dog.
Louisville returns to the field Tuesday at 2 p.m. against No. 8 Oregon State in an elimination game. If the Cards win, they’ll have to beat Coastal Carolina twice to get to the weekend’s Championship Series.
