The AL East has been very very good to the Minnesota Twins…as of late. That’s not always something we can say. The Twins already have secured another series win against an AL East team, this time to the last-place Orioles. Minnesota is looking to sweep the O’s in this day game Thursday.

Byron Buxton has managed a home run in three straight games. The Twins have won four straight games, and nine of their last 10 at home. Royce Lewis gets the start at third today and is still looking for his first hit of 2025 after being sidelined due to injury.

Keep the spartan mojo going I say.

Whatever works. I mean we all know it’s better than a sausage, though it might not make you giggle as much. However it might be as confusing, ok maybe not quite. A lot of people are wondering why it isn’t a Viking helmet though, and to that I say, valid.

I was asked this during Wednesday night’s game. “Why do the Twins wear a spartan helmet when they hit a home run?” The simple answer is: Christian Vázquez liked the idea, liked the helmet, so he bought it on amazon. It’s as simple as that.

If you would like to show up to the Twins game in one of your own, here’s a link to the helmet: Buy Here

For more detail you can click this Twinkie Town article for a nice explanation on the helmet.

The Minnesota Twins are rollin’ with it on social media, despite people calling out its medieval inaccuracy. Fun times in the Twins dugout.

Yes, we know this is not a spartan helmet, but that is what the team is calling it so we’re goin with it.
