Boston Red Sox lineup: Kristian Campbell in CF for first time since May 26

SEATTLE — Rookie Kristian Campbell will start in center field for the Red Sox on Wednesday.

He last played there May 26. It will be just his seventh start in center field this season. He has logged 51 innings there and has 0 defensive runs saved.

The Red Sox and Mariners will play the rubber game of their three-game series at 4:10 p.m., eastern.

Boston ace Garrett Crochet (6-4, 2.25 ERA) will start vs. righty Luis Castillo (4-4, 3.29 ERA).

Ceddanne Rafaela is sitting with Campbell in center field.

Romy Gonzalez will be Boston’s third different DH in three days.
