NEW YORK – Ben Rice and Jasson Dominguez are on the bench and Giancarlo Stanton is back in the Yankees’ lineup on what is shaping up to be a hot-humid afternoon at the Stadium.

As the stalled Yankees’ offense – with seven runs scored in their last seven games combined – tries to end a six-game losing streak and avoid a four-game sweep by the L.A. Angels, manager Aaron Boone will send out this lineup against lefty Tyler Anderson (2-4, 4.44 ERA).

On Thursday morning, the Yankees placed right-handed reliever Yerry de los Santos on the 15-day injury list, due to elbow discomfort stemming from Wednesday night’s appearance.

Infielder Oswaldo Cabrera (fractured left ankle) was transferred to the 60-day IL, and the Yankees called up lefty Jayvien Sandridge from Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
