Texas Rangers snooze through a sweep by the Kansas City Royals

The Texas Rangers scored once but the Kansas City Royals scored four runs.

Remember those 16 run games or the series wins or the return to .500 with a series sweep to bring back a modicum of good vibes?

Well, leave it to the 2025 Texas Rangers to quickly remind you that they’re still the 2025 Texas Rangers by getting swept by a team with three wins in June while averaging 2.5 runs per game during this homestand.

Or maybe this is still the 2024 Texas Rangers. It’s impossible to tell the difference at this point.

Player of the Game: I guess Marcus Semien’s RBI double will have to suffice for worthiness as it’s the only thing that kept Texas from getting shut out after they mustered just three hits all game.
