Fourteen area players were named to the Pennsylvania State Baseball Coaches Association all-state teams Wednesday.

Nine were voted onto the first team in their respective classifications. Five were honored on the second team.

Three Northern Cambria seniors earned spots on the Class 1A first team in pitcher Caleb Dolney, infielder Shawn Gisler and outfielder Shane Gisler.

Dolney went 8-0 with a 2.16 earned run average in 12 games. The right-hander fanned 78 batters in 451/3 innings and held opposing hitters to a .150 average. Shawn Gisler, a 2024 first-team all-state pick, hit .492 with six doubles, five triples, 11 stolen bases, 34 runs, 26 RBIs, a .614 on-base percentage and a .754 slugging percentage. Shawn Gisler walked 21 times compared to six strikeouts. Shane Gisler batted .480 with six doubles, two triples, 31 runs, 16 stolen bases, 20 RBIs, a .519 on-base percentage and a .613 slugging percentage. Both Gislers will play baseball at Pitt-Greensburg.

Cambria Heights senior outfielder Garrett Jasper and Westmont Hilltop sophomore infielder Bryce Goodman garnered spots on the Class 2A first team.

Jasper batted .464 with seven doubles, one triple, three homers, 17 RBIs, a .526 on-base percentage and a .725 slugging percentage. Jasper walked seven times and struck out on seven occasions. He also logged a 1.39 ERA with 49 strikeouts in 451/3 innings. Goodman batted .618 with 12 doubles, three triples, five home runs, 20 runs, 26 RBIs, a .724 on-base percentage and a 1.218 slugging percentage. He walked 15 times compared to eight strikeouts.

In Class 3A, Forest Hills teammates Xander Richardson and Chase Williamson were voted onto the first team.

Richardson, named as a junior infielder, batted .481 with seven doubles, five triples, one homer, 30 runs, 25 RBIs, eight stolen bases, a .500 on-base percentage and a .740 slugging percentage. He walked six times and struck out on seven occasions. Richardson also posted a 3.69 ERA with 37 punchouts in 301/3 frames.

Williamson, named as a senior outfielder who will play at Delgado Community College, hit .531 with eight doubles, four triples, 38 runs, 20 RBIs, 22 stolen bases, a .651 on-base percentage and a .781 slugging percentage. Williamson drew 19 walks and fanned 11 times.

The southpaw went 6-2 on the mound with a 1.59 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 481/3 innings.

Somerset sophomore outfielder Cole Lucas and senior catcher Callen Miller were named to the Class 4A first team.

Miller, a 2024 second-team all-state pick, batted .483 with 12 doubles, four homers, 33 RBIs, a .538 on-base percentage and a .883 slugging percentage.

Miller walked 11 times compared to six strikeouts.

Lucas hit .500 with seven doubles, two triples, one homer, 28 runs, 16 stolen bases, 23 RBIs, a .541 on-base percentage and a .712 slugging percentage. Lucas drew five walks and fanned seven times.

Three Blacklick Valley players were named to the Class 1A second team in pitcher Eli Sheesley, infielder Aiden Boring and outfielder Collin Nedrich.

Sheesley, a sophomore, was 8-0 with a 2.08 ERA and 55 punchouts in 432/3 frames. Boring, a sophomore, batted .316 with four doubles, four home runs, 22 RBIs, a .435 on-base percentage and a .596 slugging percentage. Nedrich, a senior, hit .484 with 11 doubles, one homer, 23 RBIs, a .573 on-base percentage and a .710 slugging percentage.

Windber senior catcher Lucas Oleksa was a Class 2A second-team pick. The Indiana (Pa.) recruit racked up a .404 average with four doubles, one triple, five home runs, 24 runs, 17 RBIs, nine stolen bases, a .532 on-base percentage and a .772 slugging percentage. Oleksa walked 17 times compared to five strikeouts.

Somerset junior right-handed pitcher Braeden Flower was selected to the Class 4A second team. Flower, a 2024 first-team all-state pick, posted a 7-2 record with a 1.94 ERA and 63 strikeouts in 54 innings.
