Season series: Astros lead 3-1
The Astros edged the Angels 3-2 in extra innings Friday night, cashing as -163 road favorites with the Under (8) hitting. 2B Mauricio Dubón scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the 10th. Houston also got solo homers from SS Jeremy Peña and 3B Isaac Paredes and has won 8 of its last 10 games.
RP Hunter Strickland took the loss after his wild pitch allowed the game-winning run in the 10th. The Angels got solo home runs from OF Jo Adell and 2B Christian Moore, but it wasn’t enough, as the loss snapped their 3-game home winning streak.

Angels 4, Astros 3
BET ANGELS (-115).
I like the Angels to bounce back Saturday night after a tough extra-innings loss Friday. They’ve been playing solid baseball, taking 3 of 4 from the Yankees in New York and winning 5 of 6 during their most recent homestand.
Soriano has been a steady presence on the mound, not losing since May 24 and allowing 1 or fewer earned runs in 3 of his last 4 starts. While Houston’s young starter Walter has shown flashes, this will be just his fourth career start. The Astros have been underwhelming on the road this season, holding a 17-19 record and hitting just .238 away from home. With Soriano in strong form and the Angels playing with confidence at home, this is a good spot to back Los Angeles for the win Saturday night.
PASS.
I’m not going to mess around with the run line in this matchup. I like the Angels to just win outright Saturday.
BET UNDER 8.5 (-120).
I’m backing the Under Saturday night. The Angels have stayed Under in 5 straight games, and all 3 of Walter’s starts have gone Under. Soriano has also pitched in low-scoring games, with the Under cashing in 5 of his last 6 outings. Expect a tight, low-scoring matchup in this one.
