The Diamondbacks signed McCann to a one-year contract Monday.
It was reported Sunday that McCann was set to link up with Arizona, and now that contract has been made official. The veteran backstop will share catching duties with Jose Herrera while Gabriel Moreno (hand) is sidelined.
