(KTXL) – The inductees for the College Baseball Hall of Fame were announced on Monday, and it is a huge class: 21 people!
Among those who have been selected for induction are Jerry Weinstein and Scott Boras.

Weinstein, who has dedicated his life to the game, is well-known throughout the pros for his work as a player development coach and a catching coordinator. But he was also the head baseball coach at Sacramento City College for 23 seasons, from 1974-1998.
He won 831 games, 17 league championships and two state titles with the Panthers.
He coached 213 players who got drafted, and 28 who made it to the major leagues.
Boras, one of the most famous sports agents in the world, is being inducted as a contributor to college baseball. An Elk Grove native, he played at Pacific in the mid-1970’s, hitting .312 in 1972.
