WORCESTER, Mass. – Shrewsbury native and former St. John’s baseball star just finished umpiring his 7th NCAA Division 1 Baseball Regional playoffs and 4th Super Regionals, it’s an honor to do such high level games and it’s exciting too.  “Yeah it’s very exciting we get teams from all over the United States getting together,”  said Marine, “some teams you’ve never seen before so it’s exciting to see other schools that you may not do.  For instance I work in the Big 10 and Big 12 and the Coastal Conference, the CAA so I see those teams during the year but rarely do I see ACC or SEC teams so doing those teams in the Regionals and Super Regionals it’s a fun thing to see, different teams and more importantly different umpires.  You work with different different umpires that you just don’t work with.”
