The El Paso High School baseball team wins a key District 1-5A baseball team on Tuesday
The 2025 UIL state baseball playoffs are here for teams across El Paso and Texas beginning with the bidistrict round on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Several El Paso teams are hopeful for success in the playoffs, including District 1-6A champion Coronado, District 2-5A champion Americas and District 1-4A champion Ysleta. Coronado is in the playoffs for the first time since 2018, Americas is in Class 5A for the first time after moving down from Class 6A, where it was a perennial playoff participant and Ysleta has become a consistent winner under coach Rene Solis.
Winners in the bidistrict round will advance to the area round scheduled for May 8-10.
