Including National League ERA leader Paul Skenes.

Milwaukee Brewers rookie sensation Jacob Misiorowski continued his truly stellar beginning to his big-league career with five scoreless innings in a 4-2 victory over Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Misiorowski struck out eight and walked two, while allowing only two hits in outdueling one of baseball’s top pitchers.

In 16 innings pitched over his first three starts, the 23-year old Misiorowski has allowed three hits and two runs with 19 strikeouts and seven walks. He’s also 3-0.

In his start against Skenes, 19 of Misiorowski’s 74 pitches were 100+ miles per hour. That’s how you get a crowd of 42,774 on a Wednesday afternoon.
