The Mid-East/Meadville Junior League baseball team came up clutch in extra innings to claim the District 1 tournament banner on Wednesday with a 3-2 win over Cochranton/Conneaut Lake/Jamestown.
Relief pitcher Ty Neely struck out two in the top of the eighth and helped get his team up to bat still tied at 2. Mid-East/Meadville delivered three straight hits with singles from Greyson Stevenson, Mason Potosky and Hugo Heller to load the bases.
