NP-Mansfield senior standout Alex Davis was recently named to the PIAA Class AAA First Team All-State team for his performance in the 2025 season.
Davis led his team in virtually every batting stat this past season — and despite battling through injury posted a batting average of 0.516, collected 33 hits, 34 RBIs, scored 37 runs, had seven doubles and four home runs during his dominant senior season.
He also boasted an on-base percentage of 0.535 with a 0.715 SLGG% and a 1.240 OPS and was a key factor in the Tigers finishing the 2025 season with 12-7 record and a spot in the District 4 Class AAA Playoffs.
For his career, Davis collected 115 hits, scored 110 runs, batted in 88 RBIs, added 32 doubles, two triples and 10 homers all while batting 0.455 in 79 games across his four-year career.
Before injury, he was also posting one of the best seasons on the mound where he would finish with a 5-1 record with 11 mound appearances, added one save, allowed only 21 hits, 19 runs (seven earned), had an ERA of 1.73 and struck out 31 batters in just 28 and 1/3 innings.
For his career on the mound, Davis had a record of 10-8 with a 3.18 ERA and recorded 139 strikeouts in 40 total appearances.
Davis is set to continue his career next season at Penn State Harrisburg in the spring of 2026.
