DETROIT – The Major League Baseball leading Detroit Tigers are moving to primetime as one of their upcoming matchups has been flexed.
With a 51-31 record, fans across the baseball world will get a glimpse of “Gritty Tigers,” who will host the Minnesota Twins on Sunday, June 29, at 7:10 p.m. on ESPN.
The Tigers have been on fire lately as they sit atop the MLB standings after taking another series by defeating the Oakland Athletics 8-0, taking two out of three games inside Comerica Park.
The matchup should be a doozy, as the Tigers will have 2024 Triple Crown winner Tarik Skubal taking the mound under the lights.
Get your popcorn ready, as Skubal will face Byron Buxton, Royce Lewis, Joe Ryan, and the Twins under the bright lights.
Karl Ravech, the voice of Sunday Night Baseball, will call the action with analyst Eduardo Pérez, analyst and five-time World Series Champion David Cone, and reporter Buster Olney.
