Penn State has made another splash in the portal.
Former West Virginia right-handed pitcher Ben Hudson committed to the Nittany Lions, he announced Thursday via Instagram.
Hudson just finished up his freshman year with the Mountaineers, making 18 appearances and one start. He tallied 30 strikeouts in 27.1 innings pitched with a 3.95 ERA. He had a 3-1 record.
Hudson is the second former West Virginia player to transfer to Happy Valley this offseason as infielder Spencer Barnett committed to Penn State on June 13.
