CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Reds on Friday placed outfielder Jake Fraley on the 10-day injured list due to a right shoulder strain and activated outfielder Austin Hays off the IL.
Fraley’s move is retroactive to June 27.
Hays had been on the IL since May 30 due to a left foot contusion.
The left-handed hitting Fraley has a slash line this season of .224/.331/.376 with five homers and 17 RBI in 145 plate appearances,
The right-handed hitting Hays has a slash line this season of .303/.346/.555 with six homers and 25 RBI in 130 plate appearances.
