Eli Riley, Wally Diaz and a few of their Rex teammates powered the Prospect League baseball team to its fourth consecutive victory, this time by a score of 9-7 over the Chillicothe Paints on Friday night at Bob Warn Field.
Riley contributed three hits, including a triple and two RBIs, and Diaz tallied two hits, including a triple and an RBI. Andrew Carter also had two hits, with both going for RBIs. Indiana State pitcher Aaron Moss started and went six innings for the Rex, giving up six hits, two runs and a walk while striking out five batters to receive the win. Moss is now 3-2 for the season.
