The Atlanta Braves faced an up-and-down week as they finished 3-3 with a win over the Miami Marlins and two wins over the New York Mets. After collecting the first two wins on Monday and Tuesday over the Mets, the Braves would lose back-to-back matchups to New York on Wednesday and Thursday forcing a split series. The Braves currently sit with a record of 37-43, which is good enough for a third-place spot in the NL East. Atlanta is ten games back on the NL leading Mets. In the NL Wild Card race, the Braves are seven games back on the San Diego Padres for the third and final wild card spot. The Braves will look to produce more wins as they face off against the Philadelphia Phillies and the Los Angeles Angels.Â
