The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Kansas City Royals, 5-4, on Saturday and improved to an MLB-best 52-31 on the year.
Additionally, L.A. reportedly ‘wants’ Cy Young award winner Sandy Alcantara according to an MLB insider. It is no secret that the Dodgers have been monitoring pitching help as the trade deadline is about a month away.
In more pitching news, former Dodgers reliever Joe Kelly spoke on his free agency plans. Although not currently with an MLB ball club, the would-be bullpen addition spoke on his chances for a Dodgers reunion should an offer come through.
Finally, third baseman Max Muncy spoke on his future in a Dodgers uniform. After a stagnant start to the season, Muncy has been hitting the cover off of the ball since he started wearing glasses to address an astigmatism in his right eye.
