Blue Jays Fans Excited With Decision After Red Sox Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

The Toronto Blue Jays have plenty to feel good about as they chase the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees atop the AL East. Not only do they own the AL’s second Wild Card spot, but they dodged a bullet after superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s forearm injury on Thursday.

The 26-year-old left the game vs. the Cleveland Guardians early that day after getting hit by a pitch, and he was originally left out of the lineup on Friday vs. the Boston Red Sox. However, he was added back in just before the first pitch and went 2-for-4 with a walk and three runs scored in the 9-0 victory.

The good news continued with Toronto’s roster move on Saturday, which it announced via social media.
