In Dodger minor league action, we have a tag-team one-hit shutout, a Tyler Glasnow sighting, and the Drillers ride the Ferris wheel, on the bases and on the mound.
Player of the day
Sean Linan closed out the game like a boss, striking out the last five hitters he faced in a four-inning save for High-A Great Lakes, surrendering just one single.
Sean Paul Linan turned in a very good piggyback outing for Great Lakes. Payton Martin got the start, Linan bulk innings after Yean.

Triple-A Oklahoma City
The Comets overcame a 7-3 deficit, scoring the last six runs, and defeated the Sacramento River Cats 9-7. Tyler Glasnow made his second rehab appearance for the Comets, but a walk and four singles got cashed in for four runs before he could get out of the first inning. Glasnow lasted just two and one-third innings, surrendering five runs on seven hits and one walk, striking out three.
The Comets got three runs back in the top of the third, the big hits were doubles by James Outman and Ryan Ward.

Both teams exchanged three runs, and the Comets entered the ninth inning down by one run. With one out, Michael Chavis tied the game with his 13th home run.
A few batters later, Kody Hoese doubled in two runs for the game-winning hit.
Double-A Tulsa
Top Dodgers pitching prospect Jackson Ferris pitched six scoreless innings, and three relievers completed the shutout, as the Drillers obliterated the Rangers’ affiliate, the Frisco Roughriders, 11-0.
Kendall Simmons and Sean McLain had three hits each, and left-fielder Kole Myers had two hits, including a home run, and three stolen bases for the Drillers.
High-A Great Lakes
Three pitchers combined to throw a one-hit shutout, as the Great Lakes Loons blew out the Fort Wayne TinCaps (Padres) 8-0. Payton Martin started the game for the Loons and breezed through the first eleven hitters, striking out six of them. Then, with two outs in the fourth inning, he was removed from the game with an undisclosed hand injury. Reynaldo Yean took over and retired four hitters before turning the game over to Linan. The first batter Linan faced hit a ground ball single through the infield for the TinCaps only hit. Linan then completed a four-inning save, striking out seven, including the last five hitters in order.
The Loons pieced together eight singles and seven walks into eight runs. Zyhir Hope had three hits and two RBIs.
Low-A Rancho Cucamonga
The San Jose Giants defeated the Quakes 9-2. Rancho Cucamonga starter Aidan Foeller walked seven batters in two innings, contributing to five runs surrendered. The Quakes couldn’t get their high-powered offense into gear, and the game was never competitive.
