Cardinals 4, Guardians 3

BET CARDINALS (-125).

I like the Cardinals to complete the sweep on Sunday afternoon. It’s hard to go against a team that’s building momentum, and St. Louis has now won 5 straight on the road. They’ve been playing with confidence and getting timely production on both sides of the ball.

While Liberatore’s road record is just 1-4, he’s shown real improvement in his recent outings—winning his last 2 starts and allowing only 4 earned runs over 13 innings. He’s trending in the right direction at the perfect time.

On the other side, Allen has struggled at home. He’s 1-2 in his last 3 home starts, giving up 9 ER across 17 2/3 innings. Cleveland has also faltered at Progressive Field overall, dropping 8 of its last 11 games there.

With St. Louis rolling and the Guardians struggling, don’t overthink it—back the Cardinals to finish the sweep on Sunday.

PASS.

Being that the Cardinals are on the road, I’m not going to play around with the run line in this one. I’ll keep my focus on the moneyline.

BET UNDER 8.5 (-110).

I like the Under to hit on Sunday. It has cashed in 7 of the last 10 meetings between the Cardinals and Guardians. St. Louis has stayed Under in 3 of its last 4 games, while Cleveland has hit the Under in 7 of its last 10 contests. The trends point to a low-scoring matchup.
